Methane, the main component of natural gas, has over 80 times the warming power of carbon dioxide over a 20-year period.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<div>\n<div id=\"m_-129252896870265611article\" class=\"m_-129252896870265611georgia m_-129252896870265611exported\" role=\"article\">\n<div class=\"m_-129252896870265611page\">\n<p>&#8220;The rule is so basic.
